Dr. Yonghao Li will share his considerable knowledge and experience to help us learn why, when where, and how to prune trees and shrubs to maintain structural strength and sustainability in landscapes and gardens.
Dr. Li is responsible for the Plant Disease Information Office (PDIO) at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station in New Haven, CT. The PDIO is a full-service plant disease diagnostic laboratory that assists all CT stakeholders, including homeowners and professionals. The office diagnoses plant samples using a wide range of diagnotstic methods, assists with plant inquiries, identification, and health.
