Scholarship Program

Scholarship Program
The Windsor Garden Club awards a $2,000 scholarship each year to an outstanding Windsor resident and graduating high school senior who plans to continue their education in a field related to the environment, horticulture or landscape-focused studies. Eligible areas of study include agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, herbal medicine, landscape design or architecture, forestry, environmental science, environmental engineering and related disciplines.

Applicants must plan to attend a two- or four-year college and submit a completed application that includes their academic transcript, a letter of recommendation and a short essay outlining their interests and future goals as they relate to the scholarship criteria. Financial need is not considered. The Windsor Garden Club Scholarship Committee reviews all applications and selects the recipient.

This scholarship is funded through the club’s annual plant sale at its Garden Mart in May. It is made possible by the dedication of club members and the continued support of the Windsor and gardening community.
