Professor of geography and sustainability at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), Dr. Button’s academic and research interests include global sustainability, climate destabilization/change, water resources, and human-environment interactions. His talk focuses on the association between increased temperatures and growing seasons with significant decreases in crop yields for apples, peaches, pears, tobacco, and corn throughout the State of Connecticut.
