Windsor Garden Club March Speaker & Business Meeting
Dr. Steve Cohen shares his love for and interest in bonsai, as he presents his talk "Less is More." He will bring some of his collection, and demonstrate while he provides background and steps to creation of his bonsai gardens.

Steve began his journey with bonsai about 35 years ago, with one plant that did not make it. After much research and lots of practice, his bonsai gardens include more than 45 plants, ranging from small enough to hold in one hand to 2' tall.

He notes that anyone can keep a bonsai alive for a week or two but that keeping them healthy and growing for years, decades, even generations requires that you be attuned and attentive to their needs and on guard for signals of distress. Steve cautions that patience is a key element to bonsai. He encourages anyone interested in bonsai to be flexible and, always remember that LESS IS MORE.

Steve has a LOT to share, so mark your calendar and join us!
